It started all in 1999 with our first female Collie Ricky vom Schwarzwaldtal, that is - in fact - the dog of our daughter Corinna. The character of the Collies, as well as their willingness to work make for the decision to turn our backs on the breed of the German Shepherd - even though we have spend several years with breeding and training of this breed - and to commit ourselves to the breeding of Collies.
In the meantime two Collie-bitches, "Nina" (Ricky vom Schwarzwaldtal) and "Ayleen" (Golden Ayla vom alten Groll), a daughter of Nina, the male Collie Rosegarden Pure Magic, our German Shepherd Dog Haskia (10 years of age) as well as the 4 months old Border Collie female Bo live in our family.
Nina has passed the companion test (Begleithunde-
pruefung) with the age of 15 months and starts very successfully in agility tournaments of A 2. In agility Ayleen takes her first steps well, but we´ve preferred to go on Dog Shows with her so far. She was placed in every Dog Show, among other things with V1.
The birth of the puppies takes place in our presence - the puppies are raised within our family and are faced with several everyday life and home noises. For diversified playing they have got a garden with various objects, so the new owners can build up on these gained experiences.
We are very concernd about staying in contact with the new owners beyond purchase - some of these contacts even became long-lasting friendships. Because we offer puppy play hours, too, all new owners can start to educate and train their puppies on our 22 are large training
ground. If the distance ist to far, we are on your side with words and deeds - regardless if you have got a problem in education or if you need advice in dog husbandry
