General Appearance

The dog has got a strong, compact and squared body. Bobtails are well-muscled and tough - thus they spread motivation joy. Because of the fluffily, profused coat Bobtails appear thicker and heavier than they really are. |

Bobtails are affable, balanced dogs, trustable and loyal. They don´t show signs of nervousness or agression. |

Coat & Care
|
The coat is profuse, but not so excessive as to give the impression of the dog being overly fat, and of a good hard texture; not straight, but shaggy and free from curl. The soft and water-resistant undercoat picks up dust etc. - therefore weekly brushing and combing is important. |

Any shade of gray, grizzle, blue or blue merle with or without white markings or in reverse. |
